Fun Fact about Katsushika Hokusai 
Katsushika Hokusai (1760-1849) - The most well-known Japanese painter in the world.
Ukiyoe artist active in the late Edo period. Born in Sumida-ku, Tokyo, he loved painting from an early age and taught himself woodblock engraving and other painting-related techniques. During his lifetime, he produced more than 30,000 works. Hokusai is Japan's most famous ukiyoe artist and the only Japanese artist to be selected by LIFE magazine as one of the 100 greatest ukiyoe artists of the past 1,000 years.
